This site helps you:
This is a Christian prayer platform. By participating, you agree to:
We reserve the right to remove bookings or block access if someone abuses the platform, but we have never had to do this and hope we never will.
By booking, you agree to receive transactional emails related to your booking: confirmations, reminders, prayer guides, and the link to manage your slot. We may also send occasional emails about future prayer campaigns. You can unsubscribe from campaign updates at any time. You cannot unsubscribe from transactional emails without cancelling your booking, because the system needs to reach you about the slot you hold.
We do our best to keep the site running smoothly. However, technical issues happen. We are not liable for missed reminders caused by email filters, spam folders, or connectivity issues on your end. We are also not liable for problems caused by events beyond our control.
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the site after changes means you accept the updated terms. Major changes will be communicated by email or on the site.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
If you have questions about these terms, contact us at info@prayerandfasting.co.za.
Prayer and fasting is a powerful spiritual discipline. The Bible teaches that fasting is not about impressing others or checking a religious box. Jesus warned against fasting to be seen by men (Matthew 6:16-18). God looks at the heart. If you fast, do it for the right reasons: to draw near to God, to seek His direction, to intercede for others, to break spiritual strongholds.
We cannot tell you what is in your heart. Only you and God know that. We simply ask that you approach this with sincerity and humility.
Fasting means different things to different people. Some fast from food entirely for a period. Some fast from specific foods. Some fast from media, entertainment, or other distractions. The form matters less than the spirit behind it. Choose a fast that is meaningful and sustainable for you.
If you have any medical condition, please consult your doctor before undertaking an extended fast or any fast that involves abstaining from food entirely. This includes but is not limited to: diabetes, pregnancy, eating disorders, blood pressure issues, or any condition affected by nutrition. Do not take risks with your health in the name of spirituality. God gave you your body. Steward it wisely.
If you feel unwell during a fast, break the fast. God does not ask you to harm yourself. There is no shame in adjusting your fast to protect your health. You can still pray. You can still seek God. Your obedience and your heart matter more than the technicality of the fast.
If you are a minor or responsible for a minor, do not impose an adult fast on a child. Children can participate in age-appropriate ways, such as limiting sweets or screen time, but only under parental guidance and with common sense.
The organisers of this prayer campaign are believers, not doctors or nutritionists. The prayer guides and fasting tips we share are general spiritual encouragement, not medical advice. If you need medical guidance, speak to a healthcare professional. Do not rely on this website or its emails for health decisions.
Our responsibility is to coordinate prayer slots, send encouragement, and point you to Scripture. Your responsibility is to pray with faith, fast with wisdom, and take care of the body God has entrusted to you. We are in this together, but each of us stands before God individually.
"So whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God." - 1 Corinthians 10:31
